 Purpose of the Learning Assessment Plan

Background of how it was designed and approved

        

The Business Administration Department at UPR-Aguadilla created a committee to develop the Assessment Plan which will later be presented to the Faculty for its approval. It was approved at a Faculty meeting the 30th of November 2006 and is in the process of being implemented with the purpose of

Ø  Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of the teaching – learning method to create strategies directed to improve and strengthen the effectiveness of our programs.

Ø  Evaluate whether our students are acquiring the competence necessary to have success in the professional environment.

Continue offering the best and most complete Interdisciplinary Program of Business Administration.

 

Mission

 

The Department of Business Administration offers the student, primarily in the North West area, a flexible and interdisciplinary program tempered   to the technological advances that will capacitate him to be an agent of change in the administration of businesses and in the socio economic environment of Puerto Rico. Our program develops creative graduates and ethical leader who can make effective decisions in a global environment. The Faculty of the Department develops research to contribute to the well being of society.
