Philosophy

The philosophy for this Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration is framed in the vision, mission and objectives of the Department of Business Administration and of the University of Puerto Rico in Aguadilla, as expressed in its Strategic Plan.  The University of Puerto Rico in Aguadilla recognizes that the collegiate activity is framed in the dynamics of the new global technological society and the particular characteristics of the Puerto Rican people. Visualize the university educative process as a human experience that not only prepares student for the real work environment but also for the socio-humanistic formation of the students and their healthy and constructive participation in society.  In this context this program hopes to contribute to the integral formation of the students, balancing their professional preparation with experiences that enrich and complement them.   It also seeks to develop the multifunctional student with the necessary skills to compete in different business world scenes.
